Sn0wBreeze v1.8 Released. Jailbreaks iOS 4.1 Beta
iH8Sn0w released the lastest version of Sn0wbreeze today, bring in up to version 1.8 BETA. It will jailbreak iOS 4.1 beta on pre-jailbroken iPod Touch 2g, iPod Touch 3G, and iPhone 3GS.

I know, you’re probably saying, “Wait, didn’t they skip a release?”. Yes. iOS 4.0.1 is not supported in this release, but support for the latest firmware update will be coming soon.
4.0.1 support is meant to come in a few days. doesn’t apply much. so it’ll be easy.
iPhone 3G users can still use the latest version of Redsn0w to jailbreak iOS 4.0.1 and iOS 4.1. Also, there is no baseband update, so everyone can still use Ultrasn0w to unlock.

It says ipt3 can be jailbroken on 4.1. Or am I just reading it wrong.

This is great news. I had my 3GS jailbroken with spirt but I recently lost is because my phone got stuck and I had to do a restore which in turn updated my is to 4.0. So I lost my jailbreak. Now my shsh blob was saved on Cydia. To be honest I’m really not sure what saving my Shsh blob does for me. Does having that saved allow me to do some kind of restore back to my jailbroken state or do I have to wait for this new release? Thanks for the help

there is way to do it, but it still purely depends on the luck factor.
If you have not downloaded the latest iPhone firmware to your PC, sometimes the PC might first install 3.1.3 instead of directly installing 4.01, if by luck your pc installs 3.1.3 before 4.01, you should be able to be on it.
But again it is purely a luck factor, because this happened for me once when I was upgrading.

I assume you meant iPhone 4. I think they will wait for all the idevices to get an upgrade from
iTunes, the 3gs has no upgrade yet
Hi I’m not very knowledgable on these things but I have an iPod touch mc model it’s on 3.1.2 and jailbroken….now can I jailbreak it to 4.0 yet….also if or when I can do this will I lose all my apps,music cydia etc please help thanks
If you do not have your 4.0 shsh files saved for 4.0 I don’t think you can do that. You can try using redsn0w or sn0wbreeze and installing a jailbroken firmware. There was something like that on a newer post read up on that first
