I have. 3Gs running 3.1.3 do I have to upgrade to 4.0.1 before I can jailbreak? Or is there another way around.
After jailbreak lost my ability to send pics through text messages. How do I fix it?

I was also put into “safe mode” loop on my iPhone 3gs on 4.0 earlier with Sn0wbreeze. I had to restore back to 3.1.3 and Spirit it again
I would just update to 4.0.1 thru itunes and then use new jailbreak to unlock
Its safe to update to 4.0 or 4.0.1 then use new JB
Safe to update to 4.0.1 then use new jb to unlock.
FYI TO ALL, once you update to 4.0.1 you have to have an att sim to get the phone activated. then u can use jailbreakme.com

Dunno if this is related, only after installing iBook I was able to jailbreak thru the site – didn’t work before without it stucked at blank purple screen.

My 3gs iOS 4.0.1 can`t jb…how can i get it?
On my 3Gs update bootrom I got stuck on the purple screen so I REBOOTED my phone then it worked the next time so if it won’t download reboot and try again
The jb worked perfectly and fast but is anyone else getting a pixel line and the top of screen during the black screen of a hard re-start.
