iPad Review
Ok, recently got an iPad 16GB Wifi. I really have been wanting to get one, tested it out in the apple store and just like everyone else I said “I have to have one”. Well turns out I did not really have to have one
So here is a quick review of the iPad 16GB WiFi.
Size
Size of the ipad is great, down side I noticed was when taking it home and using it in my own environment, I noticed it was not very easy to hold. Laying in bed and trying to watch a movie or play a game is a little bit harder than it should be. I do not think the iPad is heavy but overall found it a bit hard to hold and be comfortable.
Display
Display is awesome, watched a couple of movies and played some “HD” games and I liked how everything looked. The screen size is perfect, not too small not to big. Screen is very bright, even with the brightness turned all the way down still very bright.
iPad sound/speakers are good but i think that if apple could place the speakers on all four corners of the iPad you would be able to hear everything more evenly and clearly. I found that with having the speakers on just one side something I could not hear somethings.
Battery
Battery life was good, I used the iPad for at least 9 hours in a day and still had about 50% battery. Even watching videos did not kill the battery.
Only downside I really noticed was that the apps that are out there for the iPad now are very limited. Not even a “FaceBook HD”…If there were more apps I might have kept it.
Design
The design is great, something apple needs to is a camera, Face time would be great on the iPad.
Overall if you do not have an iPhone, get the iPad. For those people that already have an iPhone, I think getting the iPad is not needed. I still found myself using my iPhone to check my email and use other apps. iPad is a giant iPhone that you can not make calls with.
If you really think you will use the iPad a lot, get it. I love the device, just was not for me. Make sure you get a chance to test it out at a store before you get it.
Overall grade for iPad is a B, needs more apps and just was not comfortable to hold and be comfortable when relaxing.
