How To: T-Mobile iOS4 MMS Fix
Many people are having some issues with iOS4 and getting the T-Mobile USA MMS to work. This is something that I did on my own phone and worked for me. I hope it works for you also.
First thing, you are going to need to add a new repo to Cydia. Add http://cydia.pushfix.info, this is the repo that has the needed fix for T-Mobile MMS.
To add this repo to Cydia, get on Cydia go to Manage, tap on Sources, tap Edit, tap Add. Type in cydia.pushfix.info. Allow Cydia to reload the sources.
Go to Sources and find PushFix.info, scroll down and you should find ” T-Mobile US MMS Fix for iOS4” install that. Once you have installed the fix, you are now going to go back to the iPhone settings.
Under Settings to go General>Network>Cellular Data Network. You may need to fill-in the “APN” for MMS. If its blank add wap.voicestream.com
Everything else should already be filled in. Close everything out. Restart your iPhone and Test out your MMS.

does this bring up the “edit cellular data” tap in the menu?

i get the red exclamation point after i installed this. i see that when i take my sim card out and put it back in it always fixes. am i going to have to be doing this all the time?

Did the fix and worked out fine can send and receive mms on jail broken iphone 2g running 3.1.3
it worked for me, i had tried other settings i see online and they didnt work, i have a 4.0 firmware on a 3gs and t-mobile service it worked really good, i got it from sinfuliphone in cydia. good luck to anyone who will try it.
btw it fixed a broken mms on a 3g running 3.1.3.
tgis never worked it could receive not reply. this is a legitamitely unlocked phne that i jailbroke

Thank you SO MUCH. I have been trying and trying and this worked. Both my 3GS’s are now sending and receiving picture messages on TMO.
This did not work for me on a 3GS OS4.0.2. I get the red exclamation point. I did everything the instructions told me. Did I miss something?
It works for some people but others it does not. Also, it seems extremely slow to send.

But Thats Not Working For Me On My iPhone 4 Running 4.0.2 (T-Mobile)
For those having troubles with the red exclamation error sending mms’s, after you reset your iPhone, set up an a NEW phone DO NOT restore from a previous backup, some things carry over and cripple MMS fixes as well as YouTube fixes and FaceTime fixes
I have tried this several times, am able to send picture mms but not able to recieve. can i get ur number to fix and charge me.

this is only letting me send mms but i think my problem is that I cant download that T-mobile fix through cydia, it will tell me download failed or something like that. I have an iphone 3gs 4.1 and everything worked perfectly before I had to unlock my phone…someone please help!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have an iphone 3GS 32GB running ios 4.0 (8A293) and baseband 05.13.04 that I just jailbroke using Comex’s jailbreakme, and now MMS isn’t working–I can’t send or receive. I’ve tried countless methods, including various Cydia patches–Sinful tmobile patch, LEImobile Tmobile MMS fix and iphonedelivery,advinux.com patch and pushfix Tmobile MMS tweak–designed for T-Mobile but none has worked. I’ve tried everything in this thread with no success. I can’t restore yet b/c my blob isn’t stored on Cydia’s servers, so I was wondering what the next best option is: can i install redsnow over the comex jailbreak or should i just wait until I can restore? Or if anyone knows where the files associated with MMS are in the OS, maybe I could SSH and replace them with the ones from my 3G redsnow jailbreak? I haven’t had any luck researching this.
I’m an advanced user and did check the obvious things: I did check to make sure MMS was on, and I tried using epc.tmobile.com as my APN to no avail. I also tried manipulating the settings on the message size and the MMS UA prof URL–still no luck. This is frustrating b/c I also have a 3G with the same OS and baseband that was jailbroken using redsnow, and it works fine with the following settings: APN: wap.voicestream.com: MMSC: http://mms.msg.eng.t-mobile.com/mms/wapenc: MMS Proxy: 216.155.165.50:8080: MMS Max Message Size: 1048576: MMS UA Prof URL: http://www.apple.com/mms/uaprof.rdf: I’ve tried various combinations of these settings, several different patches and still no luck. I really wish I had used redsnow on this phone but comex’s jailbreakme was quick and easy but has proven problematic. When it first launched people complained about MMS and Facetime problem, but it was supposedly resolved.

It let’s me receive MMS but others cannot open my MMS to them. Do I need a user id and password because that is an open empty field in the settings in MMS. I typed in wap.voicestream.com for the APN but the user I’d and password is blank. I don’t know of this is what causes the errors.

if you have another app running like sinful, delete it and use only pushinfo the tmobile us mms fix works like a charm
My phone didn’t have all the numbers so I had to manually put them in and it gives me a red exclamation point. What can I do to fix this?
