How To: Flash / Frash on iPhone,iPad and iTouch
UPDATED: SIMPLE GUIDE ON HOW TO ADD FRASH TO YOUR iDEVICE.
Step 1: Your device must be jailbroken, you can follow the guide posted here to jailbreak iPhone iPad and iTouch using JailbreakMe 2.0
Step 2:Open Cydia Go to “Manage –> Sources”
Step 3: Tap on “Edit” and then on “Add”. Type http://apt.iphonemodding.com or http://repo.benm.at then hit “Add Source”
Some are having issues with Frash and getting it to install right, Try either repo and see which one works for your device.
Step 4: Search for “Frash” install it and reboot you iDevice.
From what we have researched this will work on iPhone 4, 3GS, iPod Touches and iPad 3.2.1. The video below shows Flash running on iPhone 4.

Where do we download Cyberduck from? I know we connect it to the Mac, but after there I get lost in where to download it, I believe it needs to be install into the Mac right? Need some guidance. Thanks in advance.

Wait so we can either install from cydia or ssh? Why wouldn’t you just use cydia…
use cydia much easier.
I installed Frash and rebooted. I see the word Flash in the video window, but it always says Could Not Connect when I touch it.
JS I had the exact same problem on my iPod touch 3G. I did mine through Cydia. I was still running 3.1.2 though, just updated to 4.0, gonna give it another try.
Works but I got it from a different repo http://repo.benm.at ALSO comes with a toggle for sbsettings
idk if it’s better but just showing you guys cuz I love jbnews

Yeah Infamous I found that repo too, but the Sbsettings needed at least 3.2 to work so I upgraded to 4.0.
Yep it worked, the issue wasn’t 4.0 it was the repo above. Use http://repo.benm.at if you’re getting the Could Not Connect issue.
Keeps crashing safari for me when I use repo.benm.at

Checking it out right now, tried the first repo and got the could not connect error on flash sites, trying the benm.at repo now and ti works!
videos dont work. Ive tried youtube, i trued watching naruto on it, and ive tried hulu
This isint working for 8gb Ipods… Theres a problem with the firmware where its saying you need “gsc.armv7″.

it’s working perfectly fine for me but i used ssh the only problem with games is that you need bt stack to play them because there aren’t any arrow keys.

Everyone remember this isn’t the final product so so far only small things like ads or games from newgrounds,com work hopefully later on well get full video capabilities
@Infamouswill69 thank you for the clarification on that. I was wondering why it wasn’t working on videos yet, and I’m sure others were too. But I’m happy you did NOW rather than later when everyones pissed at Comex, because I dent want him to leave

I love to help others and jbnews is awsome umm I’m also sure that it wasn’t comex that brought it to the iPhone even though it was him who made it. Because a whole back he said he wanted only the final version out wen it’s ready. But some one else brought it out then two others put it on repos straight to cydia.
I installed it from the repos. But how do I know if the frash Is wrking.
If won’t play what you want to watch, I only get adds to work some of the time
Dont work for me on 3gs 3.1.3 (best firmware) all i get is a grayed out area which says flash on it and when i click it it comes up with some error msg ohwel

It works on my iPad mostly, it doesn’t work with all flash sites though. I coolant see the video posted o. This site I can see flash adds on the tight hand, it’s weird…

The only working part is seeing ads, pretty useless to me. I appreciate the effort though, waiting for an update to follow.
What is gsc.armv7 is it something in the system firmware
Don’t expect too much from it, it’s still just a beta version
This error gsc.armv7 is the CPU. You have an old version of the iPhone/iPod touch if you get that error. It only works on iPhone 4, 3Gs and iPod touch 3G because ipod touchs CPU is the same as the iPhone 3Gs. I have iPod touch 2G MC Model and I can’t install it. Once planetbeing figures out how to overclock easier we can overclock our CPUs on our iPod touchs and iPhones to be able to do it.
Does this work for iPod touches 2nd generation?
lol @jayden. I dont think it will be a food idea to overclock out cpu’s cuz we dont have a coolin system on out ipods so we might most liky fry it and itll be done for
i dont understand i have an ipod 3g but i get the armv7 error……
@ ben if u have an 8 GB ipod touch 3rd gen, its basicaly a 2nd gen wirh different software, not hardware

@ben, lol u cant download arms7 cuz its not a software. Its a hardware -__-
So no more questions as I have said whatdevices it runs on. There is no way for the other devices NO WAY AT ALL.
