“Frash” Brings “Flash” to iOS…For Real! (Updated)
Developer @comex who brought us the Spirit Jailbreak that we all love has been working hard on bringing you something widely sought after since iPhone’s 2007 debut; native Flash support. This project was code-named “Frash”.

Update: Frash is now available for iPad and has been widely publicized. Support for other devices should come soon. We are still waiting for reports of users’ results, but here is the link to the Engadget article and tutorial. Please let us know if you try this!
Other applications have sort-of accomplished some flash support, such as YXFlash and others indirectly, like Cloud Browser. Until now, no one has been able to port a Flash plug-in directly into Mobile Safari. This plugin comes from Android mobile and from the video, it looks like it runs pretty darn well on the iPad. He is able to play games with a high degree of response with little lag and the loading between flash content seems snappy.
The release is scheduled when stability reaches an acceptable level and supports iOS 4. This may never happen, as Flash crashed on my MacBook Pro while writing this post. Seriously though, I have faith in these developers and they will surely reach an acceptable level soon! The question is, will it be free?
