Steve Jobs: “You Won’t Be Dissapointed” With WWDC

Steve Jobs responded with yet another short email to a guy named Bryan Webster. Bryan asked Steve Jobs if what Apple had planned to announce would blow Google out of the water. If you didn’t know already Google took more than a dozen shots at Apple during their conference. I’m hoping Jobs will do more than blow them outta the water.

Are Google taking the piss? I hope you have some good WWDC announcements to blow them out of the water?

F*** the google android team :)

Following up with the release of todays leaked iPhone 4G. iFixit has identified the processor as Apple’s own Apple A4, not only that but the device also has 256MB of Samsung DRAM.

The silkscreen on the production A4 reads:
* APL0398 339S0084 YNL215X0
* K4X2G643GE N26CGM0T

The leaked prototype has these markings:
* APL0398 339S0084 YNE07423

Images and Video of another iPhone 4G Prototype Leaks

Didn’t I say as the June date got closer and closer we’d be getting excited news? Well apparently Taoviet.vn, a Vietnamese forum, has posted more photos and video of another leaked 4th generation iPhone. Could there possibly be more than just one iPhone 4G design out there?

MacRumors has said that both look identical but two differences, the newly leaked devices indicates “16GB” of storage and Gizmodo’s pride and joy indicated “XXGB”, and there are now screws on the bottom of this device.

Also this unit is apparently turned on with “Inferno!” on the screen, and text indicating that the battery has 24% left. Rumors are that this is part of “firmware diagnostics” that MacRumors has seen before, but called “Bonfire!”

Hit the jump for some more pictures and a video!

AT&T Hints at June 21st for iPhone 4G

As we get closer and closer to June a lot of exciting things are going to happen, beginning with this as news shouldn’t be too bad right? According to MobileCrunch, they say that AT&T has begun changing upgrade eligibility dates for iPhone customers to June 21st.

This morning they received a report from a reader:

“Not sure if anyone [..] has noticed this same thing, but my Upgrade Eligibility date on my AT&T account switched from 11/21 to 6/21 in the last day or so. I bought a 3GS on launch day last year, and my upgrade date read 11/21 since then. A few other folks in my office have noticed the same changes happening to their accounts as well.”

It’s unclear right now if this is intentional or something that AT&T were hoping users wouldn’t notice, but either way I’m excited!

Leaked Frame and LCD Reaffirm Higher Resolution iPhone 4G/HD

A source from iSpazio has provided the site with pictures of the front frame and LCD for the iPhone 4G/HD.

These images are reportedly from a trustworthy source who receives components directly from Chinese factories, you know since everything in U.S. is from China.

The front frame adds a hole for a front facing camera. The LCD connector is a different position suggesting a substantial redesign. The connector is larger providing an increase in the number of connections to the motherboard which indicates a higher resolution display.

The glass looks identical to the 3G will only change the disposition of the connector, this suggests that there will be substantial revolution in appearance or in touchscreen technology. While the LCD is radically different compared to 3G. The connector is bigger and this suggests an increase in the number of connections to the motherboard (short PIN) as a result there will be a clearer definition superior to its predecessors.

What do you guys think about a higher resolution display on the iPhone? I’m all for higher resolution and HD video. I can’t wait till June.
