Apple is Ready to Patch JailbreakMe 2.0
Well time to buy an iPhone 4 if you haven’t already, looks like apple has confirmed to CNET that they have developed a fix for Jailbreakme 2.0. It didn’t take them very long which is not very surprising.
This fix is expected to come out in the next firmware update. As always DO NOT UPDATE PASSED 4.0.1. If you update above 4.0.1 you could be without a Jailbreak or unlock for awhile.
iPhone 4 Carrier Unlock Released!
Version 1.0-1 of ultrasn0w works for:
- iPhone4 baseband 01.59
- 3G/3GS basebands 04.26.08, 05.11.07, 05.12.01 and 05.13.04
(If ultrasn0w doesn’t show when you search Cydia, add the repo: repo666.ultrasn0w.com)
All you need to do to unlock your iPhone 4 is:
Jailbreak your iPhone 4 using JailBreakme.com, once that is done Cydia will be on your phone. Go to Cydia let it load and Ultrasn0w should be there. Install Ultrasn0w and enjoy your iPhone 4!!!!!
