4.0 Beta Jailbreaks and what they mean for you
Earlier today, a well-known Jailbreak Dev known as iH8sn0w accidentally leaked the above picture via Twitter. Take this article as an opinion, it’s meant to be nothing more. However, it seems that iH8sn0w has been furthering a jailbreak for beta 4 of the iPhone 4.0 OS…It’s definitely meant to be for developers to update their applications to the new 4.0 operating system.
So what does this mean for end-users like you and me?
It means that a hole(s) has been found in the 4.0 OS, and could possibly still be there when the public version of the OS is released soon. This means that a jailbreak for the awesomeness of 4.0 could be released instantaneously with the release of the 4.0 OS! No waiting weeks and or months for an exploit.
This is all pure speculation of course. If Apple were to get their hands on this the exploit would surely be patched. Or who knows? They could still be using the exploit found in the 3.1.3 OS. But let’s stay positive, and hope that this Jailbreak will work on the official 4.0 iPhone OS, which is expected to be released at the WWDC (June 7 to June 11, 2010).

a new hole has been found…do not be mistaken, but it is not going to be shown in that version for apple to see, it is using the usb exploit which has been around for awhile now…and it is old-bootrom devices only!…the new hole will not be released till 4.0 has come out and the iphone 4G has come out
Any Information about the OS 4.0 jailbreak will Be tethered like Blacksnow etc or fully implementated in the OS like Spirit do?

Awesome can’t wait for 4.0 going to be awesome!!!!!! But gutting I won’t be able to use multi-tasking since I’m on an itouch 2g but owell I know how to enable it if I wanna use it lol.
1) it doesnt mean a new exploit has been found, it’s just reusing the same 24kpwn exploit used in all custom firmwares to for ipt2g/old bootrom 3g[s, just like redsn0w for 4.0 beta does
2)to people asking if it’s tethered or not, the exploit in this sn0wbreeze will of course be untethered because, as shown in the picture, it’s for a ip2g which is vulnerable to 24kPwn and therefore untethered
3)you’re all obviously way out in regards to the main point of interest in this post, which is the fact that ih8sn0w has modded the beta so that it will run on a SECOND generation ipod touch. previously it only worked on ipt3g/3g/3gs.
